My name is Andrew Scott, and I am a welder by trade. but photography and hiking/mountaineering are my passions. I tend to find myself facing off against mother nature when trying to capture a scene. be it the wind, rain, snow... or most often cold fingers!
Although my work is varied - I do tend to focus on long exposures with water, mountain landscapes, the odd action shot of my hiking friends or even the odd wildlife shot if I am quick enough. However, I do have a soft spot for black and white photography. It is rewarding in a different way than colour and I find many of my favourite images are monochrome.
I use Fujifilm cameras for my work, my main being the fuji X-T3. However if i am doing portraiture, street work or need a second camera at a site, I use the trusty X-Pro2.
